Welcome to the Education page. We hope to provide you the necessary information to make your computer experience both enlightening and educational.

Classes are held in the fall term from October into December. The winter/spring term is from January into April. Our dedicated instructors are all volunteering their time to teach for the Club. For that reason, we believe they earn a well-deserved break during the summer months.

Suggestions for new class offerings are welcome. If there is enough interest, we try to include new classes in future schedules. If you would be interested in teaching a new class, or any class currently offered, please contact the education director.

See the Course Listing for a general listing of classes offered in the next term. A copy of this is located in the clubroom. Also, see PC Course Sequences or Mac Course Sequences for a guide to the recommended course sequences.

Registration and tuition payment for classes may be done entirely online. Please read or print the document How to Register for Classes and Pay Online. If not paying for classes online, please make sure your cash or check payment is submitted to the Club room and inserted in a green envelop. The monitor working the desk can assist you in this effort. Tuition payments should be made within one week of registering.

Tuition refund for class will be granted to students when a class is cancelled and transfer to another class is not possible. Cancellation may be caused by an instructor not able to teach, too few students in the class, or reasons beyond the Computer Club’s control. Tuition refund for class will not be granted if a student cancels a class or does not appear in class for any reason other than death, bereavement of a family member, jury duty, or severe illness or injury.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We are always looking for volunteers as instructors and assistant instructors. If interested, contact the education director.
